Privacy Policy

Effective date: February 4, 2026

Summary: Q-Fill for Gmail does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. All email processing happens locally in your browser. We have no servers and no analytics.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Q-Fill for Gmail ("Q-Fill", "the extension", "we", "our") handles information when you use our Chrome browser extension. Q-Fill is developed by Qendrim Beka.

By installing and using Q-Fill, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the extension.

2. Information We Access

Q-Fill accesses limited data from your Gmail account solely to provide its core functionality: extracting verification codes from emails.

2.1 Gmail Data

When you click "Check Emails Now", Q-Fill:

Q-Fill uses the gmail.readonly OAuth scope, which provides read-only access. The extension cannot send, delete, modify, or permanently access your emails.

2.2 Browser Tab Data

Q-Fill accesses the active browser tab to fill extracted verification codes into form fields. It does not access any other tabs or browsing history.

Q-Fill does not operate any servers. Email data is fetched directly from Google's Gmail API to your browser and is never transmitted elsewhere.

The only persistent data stored is your authentication state (connected or disconnected), which is saved in Chrome's local storage. This data is removed when you disconnect your account or uninstall the extension.
