Effective date: February 4, 2026
Summary: Q-Fill for Gmail does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. All email processing happens locally in your browser. We have no servers and no analytics.
This Privacy Policy describes how Q-Fill for Gmail ("Q-Fill", "the extension", "we", "our") handles information when you use our Chrome browser extension. Q-Fill is developed by Qendrim Beka.
By installing and using Q-Fill, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the extension.
Q-Fill accesses limited data from your Gmail account solely to provide its core functionality: extracting verification codes from emails.
When you click "Check Emails Now", Q-Fill:
Q-Fill uses the gmail.readonly OAuth scope, which provides read-only access. The extension cannot send, delete, modify, or permanently access your emails.
Q-Fill accesses the active browser tab to fill extracted verification codes into form fields. It does not access any other tabs or browsing history.
Q-Fill does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
All data processing occurs locally within your browser:
| Process | Location | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Email fetching | Your browser (via Gmail API) | Momentary |
| Code extraction | Your browser memory | Momentary |
| Form filling | Active browser tab | Momentary |
| Auth state storage | Chrome local storage | Until disconnect |
Q-Fill does not operate any servers. Email data is fetched directly from Google's Gmail API to your browser and is never transmitted elsewhere.
Q-Fill does not retain email data or verification codes. Once a code is filled into a form field, it is immediately discarded from memory.
The only persistent data stored is your authentication state (connected or disconnected), which is saved in Chrome's local storage. This data is removed when you disconnect your account or uninstall the extension.
Q-Fill interacts with the following third-party services:
Q-Fill's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
This website uses Google Fonts for typography. No fonts are loaded by the extension itself.
Q-Fill does not share, sell, rent, or trade any user data with third parties. Since we do not collect data, there is no data to share.
Q-Fill implements the following security measures:
You have full control over Q-Fill's access to your data:
Because Q-Fill does not collect or store personal data, there is no data to request, correct, or delete beyond disconnecting or uninstalling.
Q-Fill is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Q-Fill processes all data locally on your device. No data is transferred to external servers, regardless of your location.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Q-Fill after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
